As Kaizer Chiefs look to bolster their management ranks in the hopes of turning the team’s fortunes around, it’s reported that Yusha Said, a well traveled analyst who worked with Pitso Mosimane at Al Ahly, is reportedly on his way to Naturena.

GOOD ADDITION FOR KAIZER CHIEFS

“He has resigned, and he’s going to Kaizer Chiefs,” a source told FARPost regarding Said who was most recently at Swallows FC.

“His role wherever he has worked was to identify strengths and weaknesses to help formulate a game plan using data analysis.

Said is a highly respected performance analyst with plenty of experience across the continent. When serving under Pitso Mosimane, he won the CAF Champions League and the CAF Super Cup.

MOSIMANE A ‘NO GO’ AS HEAD COACH

Unfortunately for Amakahosi fans, it seems certain that Pitso Mosimane won’t be taking up the top job at the club.

During an exclusive press conference with the South African Football Journalist Association (SAFJA), Mosimane explained why there was a far stronger chance of returning to coach a national team in Africa, and not a club.

“There might be interest back at home and also maybe national teams, it will be nice also but it depends on which one and it depends on the reason also,” Mosimane said.

“It’s Cup of Nations [Africa Cup of Nations] in January, so maybe short-term but even after January the World Cup Qualifiers keep going on. Maybe that can also interest me but it has to be the right thing.

“With the national teams, I don’t have a problem to be back in the continent but club wise in the continent it’s not gonna be that easy,” Mosimane said.
