Kaizer Chiefs target Antonio Van Wyk will come at a premium. As his agent reveals his contract extends until 2025 according to iDiski Times. This makes the 21-year-old South African talent a sought-after prospect.

ANTONIO VAN WYK: PLAYER OVERVIEW

Having amassed 60 appearances at Stellenbosch and netted five goals since his debut in the 2021/22 season. The under 23 international has captured the attention of numerous teams, including reported interest from PSL clubs like Kaizer Chiefs.

CONTRACT DETAILS

He is a key figure in Stellies’ historic Carling Knockout Cup triumph, and remains under contract for another year, according to his representative Lance Davids of Football First.

AGENT CONFIRMATION OF KAIZER CHIEFS TALKS

Despite Kaizer Chiefs target, Van Wyk standout performances, Davids disclosed to iDiski Times, “At this moment, nothing [no interest].” 

“He has a year left in his contract. So whoever wants him will have to pay.”

Van Wyk’s notable impact as a substitute in a DStv Premiership match against Orlando Pirates, leading his team to a 3-2 comeback victory, has only heightened his appeal.

Kaizer Chiefs target, Antonio Van Wyk, a product of the former Ubuntu Academy, showcases immense potential and has already left a mark on the top-tier football space in South Africa. 

Stellenbosch FC’s talented youngster Antonio van Wyk was said to be on a verge of a European move, with the attacking midfielder having impressed during his trial with Belgian outfit Westerlo FC earlier in August 2022.
