Kaizer Chiefs will NOT appoint new coach, says Bobby
Kaizer Chiefs are currently coached by Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze, and the management has no intention to replace them for now.
Kaizer Chiefs Football Manager Bobby Motaung says the club is not intending to bring in a new coach this season.
Amakhosi are currently led by Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze as co-coaches following the departure of Nasreddine Nabi earlier this season.
At the time of Nabi’s departure, Chiefs announced that both Youssef and Kaze would lead the team until the end of the season.
Nonetheless, given the team’s inconsistency this season, a section of Chiefs fans has called for coaching changes.
However, Motaung believes the team has made progress under the two coaches, adding that Chiefs believe in progress.

KAIZER CHIEFS WON’T APPOINT NEW COACH – BOBBY MOTAUNG
“We don’t want to distabilize the team by bringing in a new coach who will want to do things differently to what we’re currently doing,” said Motaung as per Isolezwe.
“Coaches want to do their own things by bringing their own backroom staff.”
“These two gentlemen have been with the team from the beginning, and we are building on that.
“We want progress, and I believe it is clear to everyone that the team is making progress,” added Motaung.
HAVE AMAKHOSI IMPROVED UNDER THE TWO COACHES?
There is indeed progress made by Chiefs under the two co-coaches since Nabi’s departure as the team is currently fourth on the Betway Premiership log.
The two tacticians – Ben Youssef and Kaze – have been in charge of 12 games across all competitions thus far.
Under their leadership, Chiefs have won seven, drawn four and lost just once; a defeat which came in the Carling Knockout Cup.
