While the Springboks will be out to defend their Webb Ellis Cup, there will be FOUR South African tournament officials on duty at the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France.

Jaco Peyper will be one of 12 referees at the tournament which kicks off on Friday, 8 September.

Peyper will be in charge of that opening match between hosts France and New Zealand.

Little-known Deker Govender has been selected as a citing commissioner while former Springbok Stefan Terblanche will feature on the judicial panel.
