Orlando Pirates return to DStv Premiership action this evening when they host Sekhukhune United.

The Buccaneers will be desperate for a victory at the Orlando Stadium after a horrific start to their league campaign.

Jose Riveiro’s side have picked up just nine points from their opening eight matches and sit in 13th position on the log standings.

The visitors on the other hand are also struggling. Sekhukhune United have picked up just 11 points from 10 matches so far this season.

ORLANDO PIRATES STAR SUSPENDED

Zakhele Lepasa will play no part in tonight’s clash. The Bucs attacker is serving a one match suspension due to an accumulation of yellow cards.

The good news however is that Lepasa will return from suspension for this weekend’s Soweto derby against Kaizer Chiefs!

Action at the Orlando Stadium gets underway at 19:30. The match will be televised live on SuperSport PSL.

Unfortunately, the national broadcaster SABC will NOT be televising tonight’s match.

“It’s not easy, you can see we play Wednesday and weekend. So, it’s not easy. We just need to recover well so that we can focus on another game.” the Orlando Pirates star said as quoted by FarPost.

“When it comes to the game, I think we started very well. We created a lot of chances you know. Like the coach told us before, the last game that we played against Cape Town Spurs we didn’t start well. Today, we had to start well. It’s just that we didn’t convert our chances.”
