Schoolboy rugby: Every result from the weekend’s matches

A number of schoolboy rugby matches took place over the weekend around the country as schools returned for the second term.

In results that caught the eye in the NoordVaal region, high-flying Jeppe thrashed St Stithians 47-11 while KES were far too strong for St John’s College, winning 61-18.

Meanwhile, Affies edged Garsfontein 33-31 in a humdinger of a clash.

In KwaZulu-Natal, Maritzburg College beat Glenwood 18-7 in the standout fixture.

Down in the Western Cape, Paarl Boys’ High won a tough encounter against Oakdale 19-10, while Paarl Gim were too good for Boland Landbou, winning 47-13.

In an upset, Milnerton beat Rondebosch 34-33 away from home, while SACS continued their improved showings this season with a late 24-22 win over Stellenberg.

Grey High blanked Muir 60-0 in the Eastern Cape, while Queen’s College did likewise to Stirling, winning 50-0.
