This past weekend the Cape Town Cycle Tour proved to be a highly successful event, with numerous high profile participants enjoying the occasion, which notably included Springbok World Cup star Damian Willemse.

With Willemse not forming part of the Stormers’ exhibition match against the Northampton Saints, he was free to show his ability in another sporting arena.

On Instagram, he shared numerous stunning pictures and videos of the scenic tour, commenting: “What an amazing event & day on the bike with my friends, creating beautiful memories for life. A job well done to our Mayor @geordin.hill.lewis @cityofct for an amazing day and the most beautiful race yet again around the best city in the World.”

You can check out all the posts on Willemse’s Instagram by clicking here, and by the looks of it, the talented Springbok fullback certainly seemed to enjoy a comfortable ride.
