Andre Johan Joubert was born on 15 April 1964 in Ladysmith making him 59 at the time of publishing.

Joubert played 34 Tests in total for the Springboks scoring 115 points, scoring 10 tries and landing seven conversions and 17 penalties.

He was on the winning side in 23 Tests, while losing 10 and drawing one for win percentage of 69%.
Joubert made his debut against a World XV at Newlands in Cape Town in August 1989 and played his final Test against Australia at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria in August 1997.

After retiring, the ‘Rolls-Royce of fullbacks’ started a company called 3G Technology which sells and services Konica Minolta multifunctional print devices and 3CX IPBX systems.
