1. PLAN AHEAD BEFORE TRAVELLING

Research your destination to find out about local gyms, parks, or fitness facilities.Be sure to also pack workout essentials such as resistance bands, a jump rope, or running shoes ahead of your trip.

2. BODYWEIGHT EXERCISES

Incorporate bodyweight exercises into your routine, such as squats, lunges, push-ups, and planks. These exercises can be done anywhere while travelling, even in your hotel room!

3. OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES WHILE TRAVELLING

Explore the surroundings by walking, jogging, or cycling. This is also a great way to stay active and healthy while getting to know the place you’re visiting. Hiking is also a great option if the place you’re visiting has safe and appropriate hiking trails.

4. CHOOSE ACTIVE TRANSPORTATION

Opt for walking or cycling instead of always relying on taxis or public transport, especially for short distances.

5. STAY HYDRATED

Travelling can definitely be dehydrating, especially if you’re flying long-haul, so be sure to drink plenty of water. Carry a reusable water bottle and refill it throughout the day.

Vacations tend to be very indulgent, especially if you’re in a different country, sampling the different cuising, but it’s sometimes important to make mindful food choices. Aim for balanced meals while travelling, with plenty of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. Try local, fresh produce to explore new flavors.
