Rassie sets sights on All Blacks with social media follow
Rassie Erasmus clicked follow on the All Blacks’ official X account ahead of their clash with the Springboks, getting inside their heads.

Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus has once again pulled off a strategic move as the team prepares to face their next opponent, the All Blacks.
South Africa and New Zealand, fierce rivals and old rugby allies, will clash in two upcoming test matches.
RASSIE FOLLOWS THE ALL BLACKS ON X
In a typical “He’s in your head” moment, Rassie Erasmus has strategically followed the All Blacks rugby team on his X account.
Just as he did with the Wallabies, the Springbok coach has made a habit of tracking his rivals’ social media posts and then quickly unfollowing once he moves on.
When reporters asked him last year why he follows his opponents, Rassie explained: “It’s just interesting for me. It’s not mind games. Guys tweet stuff about their team, and you see it, and you might learn something there.”
“It’s just like I get the newspaper. It’s only online, then you go and look there and see what you can see, and you look at the photos and you try and see what they’re trying to do there.
He added: “It’s really just nice to know what they’re up to.”
SA VS NEW ZEALAND FIXTURES
Rassie and the Springbok squad will travel to New Zealand to play two away games. They will face the All Blacks on 6 September at Eden Park in Auckland and meet them again on 13 September at Sky Stadium in Wellington.
