If you want to watch something very typically South African, watch these guys trying to get a stuck land cruiser out of the water and mud! As one of the men in the video says at one point: “Brandewyn en modder” (brandy and mud). It couldn’t get more South African than that!
South Africans have been loving and sharing the video… with the comments flying about the legendary land cruiser – “You gotta love ❤️ Toyota… while the car is underneath water the engine is still running” (Phumlani Mthethwa); the men drinking – “A lot of klipdrift in one video” (Musombwa Mabenga); and their khaki outfits – “Saffa farm fashion – two tone all the way” (Dijon Valentim).
Writing on South Africa Live’s wall, Jaco du Preez said: “That’s what happens when you buy a 6 pack beer, drink till you’re drunk, put the other 5 back in the fridge and go 4×4.”
