Behati started dating Maroon 5 singer Adam in 2012. They broke up briefly before getting engaged and married. This July they celebrated their one-year anniversary and most insiders describe them as the “cutest, most romantic couple”. (Don’t tell Mila!)
When Behati was Mila’s age, she was a little girl growing up in Namibia, speaking Afrikaans at home with her church minister father (Boet) and mom Magda who runs a bed and breakfast. Ten years ago, at 16, she was discovered whilst on holiday in Cape Town by Sarah Doukas from Storm Model Management (who also discovered Kate Moss).
The 26-year-old now lives a glamorous jet-set life in Los Angeles…but keeps her southern African connections alive and well, posting wildlife messages and sharing a close friendship with fellow Victoria’s Secret Angel, South African supermodel Candice Swanepoel.
