Nice and chilli yesterday and this morning and this is the reason.... Snow on the mountains. Silverstreams Caravan Park, Bushmansnek, Southern Drakensberg KZN.

Amazingly it has snowed again in parts of South Africa, with Facebook page Snow Report SA reporting that there is still the possiblity of “light flurries” tonight in some areas of the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Midlands, the Eastern Cape (EC) just west of Matatiele, and on the KZN Drakensberg.

Here’s a handful of photos of the beautiful scenes, as sent to Snow Report SA

Seen on Sunday…

Photo taken yesterday by Jonathan Newman‎: “Some snow fell this morning at Giants Castle Nature Reserve. I was in Bannerman Cave on top Saturday night, no snow fell that far north, but a light dusting on Durnford Ridge was visible, and lots on Giants Castle and the SA side of Mount Durnford.”
