Construction is vital for South Africa’s economy, but with the theft of scaffolding from building sites, the industry loses around R460-million a year – losses passed on to consumers through increased building costs. Reusable and robust, scaffolding virtually never needs to be replaced unless it’s worn out, become unsafe and can be scrapped.
