The poem was written by Jean Ruthven, and shared by his friend Marcel Erasmus. Marcel told SAPeople: “We are the biggest Springbok fans ever and proud to be part of the South African Rainbow nation. Believing in uniting our country. STRONGER TOGETHER. I am so thankful that this post had such a huge effect on our nation and country.
“We just hope that it will reach the Springboks to give them that extra motivation and show them they have our full support and we stand united!”
