South African expats in Florida, USA, were so excited watching the Springboks play their way to victory in the Rugby World Cup final that the police were called to their property to investigate!

Fortunately, the cops from Coconut Creek Police Department were totally understanding, and seemed relieved it was simply major Springbok fans causing the commotion, and nothing more serious.

Brett M Wright, originally from Cape Town, said: “Other highlight of us winning the Rugby World Cup was the cops coming out at 6:50am with 5 minutes left in the game. Thanks for being so awesome CCPD!”

Fellow SA expat Martin Ross, who was also there, posted a photo of the Springbok fans and said: “World Cup Rugby Champions!🇿🇦A good morning at 5Am we must have made a bit of a noise – the cops popped in to see if they needed to arrest someone! Awesome!”
