South Africa’s The Kiffness – aka David Scott – has posted another hilarious video to his incredibly popular playlist of Lockdown Parodies.
This time it’s called “Nkosazan’ Dlamini Trafficker (SA’s New National Anthem)” and pokes fun at Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma and the ban on cigarettes in South Africa.
Scott says: “Please stand for our new National Anthem 🇿🇦 (PG advised)” and adds a disclaimer at the end that this is a satirical piece and “not necessarily based on fact” (and that he has the right to freedom of expression!)

The Kiffness has also added a message for any deaf people saying: “I have nothing but love & respect for the complexity & skill that comes with your language. I often watch the sign language during these political speeches & am always so very impressed by how quickly the interpreters are able to sign what the President is saying. I hope it’s clear have no idea what I’m doing, and the idea is for the audience to laugh at me, not at you. I hope you understand that that is part of the satire & the video’s in no way made to make a mockery of your language.”
And btw, the flag change from South Africa to Australia near the end was also “completely accidental” (“Youtube went & played the next video 🤣🤣🤣”)
