I think a lot of us were reeling yesterday from the President’s speech on Sunday night, writes Sam Cohen. Let’s remember today to be kind.

If you have a friend who is a drinker, please be kind, they are angry and hurt.
If you haven’t seen your family in months, please be kind to people for whom that’s not a top priority. Their pain is as real as yours.

If you think wearing masks is a burden, please be kind. It’s proven to work and it gives everyone peace of mind.

For those who have to use taxis at full capacity, please be kind to them. Some people have to make a daily choice between sickness and starvation, both are untenable.
We are all worried, sad and scared. Let’s take today to reach out to at least one person and say, “Me too.”

CS Lewis said that friendship is born in the moment when one person says to another: “You too, I thought I was the only one.” This is the perfect time to spread the love. We all have it. We all need it.

Stay warm, stay safe. xx
