If that wasn’t enough of a scandal, Lee was accused of scamming women with orders for his book, which he allegedly failed to deliver.

However, this week, the Cape Town model returned to Instagram with news of another book venture, this time as the hunk featured on the cover.

The novel – translated as ERIK: In His Remembrance – tells the story of an eligible bachelor who is forced to pick a bride in order to inherit his wealthy father’s business.

Lee also turned off comments on the post, preventing his followers from having their say.

WHAT BOUT HIS OWN BOOK?

In October 2022, Lee Thompson last updated his IG followers about his book – which was originally cited to unpack the “deception, manipulation and lies” he experienced during filming of M-Net’s The Bachelor SA in 2019.

The book has been delayed several times and has not been given a release date.

According to man of his followers, the concept of the book was a “scam”.
