KAIZER CHIEFS NEGOTIATING NEW TERMS WITH HLANTI

Sifiso Hlanti has been a near ever-present this season for Amakhosi at left-back, and also come up with a few key goals. With new arrivals Thatayaone Ditlhokwe (24) and Given Msimango (28) still approaching their respective peaks, Hlanti’s experience in the Chiefs rearguard will be vital this coming campaign.

KAIZER CHIEFS TO TRIGGER ONE-YEAR EXTENSION FOR HLANTI

Hlanti joined the Soweto giants in July 2021 from rivals Swallows FC, signing a two-year deal with an option to have it extended by another season. According to SABC Sport, the deadline to activate the clause was at the end of May, a standard procedure for the majority of Premier Soccer League sides. Hlanti is reportedly keen to stay on at Naturena and has entered into discussions with the club over new terms. With Erick Mathoho having left, Hlanti’s know-how and experience will be key in the Amakhosi dressing room.
