A dancing Outsurance pointsman from Pretoria is making headlines around the world since being featured by global news agency Reuters.

A video of the ‘traffic warden’, as Reuters calls him, was first uploaded by teacher Solante Hough on Twitter. Hough – who posts as @pixicube – tweeted: “I wish everyone could love their job this much @OUTsurance.”

She captured the footage on the corner of Jacaranda and Hendrik Verwoerd Drive in Centurion.

Hough told local press that the dancing pointsman made her day. “I was on my way back home from a hectic day at work when I saw him regulating the traffic during peak time… It made me forget that I was actually stuck in traffic and it brightened up my day. It made me relax in a way.”

And now the dancing pointsman is brightening people’s days around the world with the video posted by mainstream media in the USA, UK, New Zealand and even Malta!
