Kruger National Park game ranger has exposed more visitors to the famed park for breaking vehicle laws in order to get a better view of animals.

Posting under the Twitter name ‘The Real KING OF THE JUNGLE’ with the handle @EdwardthembaSA, the ranger captioned the post: “The rules are actually for our own safety….but they say rules are made to be broken. I still say one day is one day.”

He included three images showing visitors standing up out of sunroofs in their vehicles.

This is certainly not the first instance of such behaviour – as reported by The South African website in THIS previous viral article.

Worryingly, it appears this has become the ‘norm’ inside the park with more and more accounts of law breaking by guests.

According to SANParks, guests entering national parks are required to sign documents indemnifying SANParks against any claim, action, judgment, costs, and or expenses which may be made against SANParks.

Visitors are also advised to stay in their vehicles at all times.

“In most of the national parks, there is a possible threat from dangerous animals. In such parks, guests may only alight from vehicles in designated areas. No part of your body may protrude from a window or sunroof and doors should remain closed at all times.”
