Diddy: Ex bodyguard claims to have ‘jumped in’ to help Cassie
The former bodyguard, Roger Bonds claimed that he allegedly ‘jumped in’ to help Cassie during an argument with Diddy.
Just last week Diddy’s head of security, Roger Bonds noted that he was finally ready to speak out about Cassie’s claims of sexual assault. Roger has recently claimed that he allegedly “jumped in” between Diddy and Cassie to help her when he worked for the rapper.
‘I JUMPED IN BETWEEN IT’
According to Page Six, Roger revealed reasons why he stopped working for the Hip Hop mogul. The former bodyguard also shared how he had to jump in between many physical violent incidents between the couple.
“There comes a time when you’re in a situation that may seem like a good situation. But if you’re not waking up happy or if you [are] disgruntled or you really don’t want to be around that person, you find every excuse to get out of there”.
Cassie’s lawsuit highlighted an incident where Diddy pushed Cassie into a corner and started stomping her face.
“In the car leaving the club, Mr. Combs beat Ms. Ventura, pushing her into a corner of the vehicle and stomping on her face. Mr. Combs’s security staff, Roger Bonds, tried to stop the beating, but was unable to deescalate the situation”, the lawsuit read.
In response to Cassie’s claims Bonds explain: “Cassie spoke on it. She said yeah, I jumped on it. I jumped in between it. That wasn’t the only time. It was other times, and it was other people”.
Bonds, who is diabetic, explained in the video that he used his illness as an “excuse” to get away from working with Diddy Combs.
“But in reality, it was I was sick — I was sick of you. I was sick of everything that was going on around you. I was sick of having to cover up everything that you did. I was sick”.
