Looking for #fitspiration this Spring? There are many female celebs who lift weights to crush their workout goals. Weight training helps them to look and feel stronger and fitter. And no, it doesn’t make them bulky!

By incorporating weights into your workouts, you can burn fat, get stronger and improve your overall health (source). Here are some of our favourite gym queens that love training with weights or lifting heavy at the gym.

FIVE FEMALE CELEBS WHO LIFT WEIGHTS

1. ADELE

Known for her powerful voice, Adele impressed fans when she revealed her new, strong physique. She credited weightlifting with helping her to get into shape, along with cardio and regular walks. Adele uses conventional barbell deadlifts, pull-ups, squats and dumbbell lunges, among other exercises to stay fit and healthy.

2. BEYONCE


Yes, Queen Bey herself uses weights to get fitter. According to Bey’s trainer she hits the weights regularly to get toned. She does a mix of circuit training exercises, as well as some cardio. No wonder she looks so good!

3. PEARL THUSI


The South African beauty famously lost over 10kg during her weight loss journey. Along with weight lifting, she credits water and a healthy diet for helping her to get fitter and stronger. She is a regular gym queen, proving that consistency is king.

4. GAL GADOT


Gal started lifting to get fitter for Wonder Woman and she fell in love with it. The gorgeous star went from gym newbie to pro in just a few months! Some of the exercises she used included dumbbell raises, hamstring curls, knee tucks and hip thrusts.

5. HALLE BERRY


The Little Mermaid star posted many Instagram pics of her crushing her workouts. During filming, she did a mix of strength and conditioning workouts to get fitter. Her regular exercises include circuit training workouts, weighted squats, and box jumps.
