A video of a Checkers Sixty60 biker who was recently ROBBED of groceries at gunpoint outside a house has gone viral.

In the video, a Checkers Sixty60 biker can be seen waiting outside a house.

It looks like he is busy texting when two armed men suddenly run up from behind him.

TWO ARMED MEN RUN UP AND STEAL THE GROCERIES

They grab his phone and keys before they steal the grocery bags on the back of the bike.

Another man, who seems like a passerby, also runs up and grabs two bags.

Luckily, the biker was not injured in the incident.

It is not yet clear where this incident happened in South Africa.

On Wednesday, a spokesperson for the Shoprite/Checkers Group said they are aware of the incident.

“Checkers Sixty60 is aware of the incident and thankful that no one was injured during the robbery.”

SHOPRITE/CHECKERS GROUP SAID IT WOULD REPLACE THE PHONE

Furthermore, it said the company offered the driver trauma counselling and would replace his mobile phone.

According to the company, the customer has been contacted and Sixty60 will credit the customer’s account for the groceries, including the delivery fee.

THE DRIVER WILL GETTING COUNSELING AND THE CUSTOMER WILL BE CREDITED

“We denounce such acts of crime, which ultimately puts the safety of our customers, employees, and delivery partners at risk,”the company said.
