If you’re yearning for the ocean… take a ride with one of South Africa’s hottest young pro surfers – Shane Sykes. In this awesome video – ‘White Rain’ – the 19-year-old from Salt Rock, KwaZulu-Natal, has teamed up with his award-winning partner Steven Michelsen again.
Last March the duo won the inaugural ZigZag Short Film Competition for ‘Silence of Eyes’ – directed and filmed by Steven, with Shane shredding the waves.
Their new video – just under three minutes – features the same top quality footage…
Last year Shane’s video ‘Rhinofish’, which he edited himself, also won him a trip to California to compete in the legendary Lower Trestles competition.
