The Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire Droptail has been installed as the world’s most expensive new car with an eye-watering price tag of over R600m.

The Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire Droptail has been installed as the world’s most expensive new car with an eye-watering price tag of £25 million or over R600m.

The Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire Droptail is a bespoke convertible that was commissioned by an ultra wealthy client. It features over 1600 wood pieces hand-finished and hand-placed over almost two-year period.

ROLLS-ROYCE LA ROSE NOIRE IS INSPIRED BY THE BLACK BACCARA ROSE AND CHANGES COLOUR

According to the Daily Mail, the special edition Droptail commands a price that most people cannot afford at £25 million or the equivalent of more than R600 million based on the current exchange rate.

Special features added to the Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire Droptail include matching Champagne Chest commissioned to stage client’s exclusive vintage and a Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept timepiece.

In fact the car’s unique colour can change hue from a dark pomegranate colour of its petals appears almost black in shade, but in direct light, a red, pearlescent shimmer is revealed on the dark surface.

The incredibly expensive luxury car was presented to the family at Pebble Beach in California. Rolls-Royce says the owners are “an international family that exemplifies connoisseurship and luxury of the very highest order.”
