‘RHOWL’ STARS HUSBAND TO STEP DOWN AS CEO OF KWV

Real Housewives van die Wynlande (RHOWL) viewers were first introduced to KWV CEO Boyce Lloyd through his wife Anita on the first episode of the series when she introduced herself, and lavish life to the cameras.

KWV has now announced that Lloyd will step down as CEO to make way for John Loomes. Many are wondering if it could have something to do with his wife’s controversial sayings on the show.

According to Afrinuus, he was only supposed to step down in 2024. However, it seems KWV had other plans.

According to a statement from KWV, the change in leadership comes after a “carefully orchestrated leadership transition,” which began in July 2022.

The company states, Loomes stepped into the role of temporary COO in September 2022 and has been managing the business ever since. He will take the position of CEO as of 1 June.

“John is a highly respected leader who has played a significant role in KWV’s growth. I am confident that under his guidance, KWV will continue to thrive and succeed. John’s commitment to quality, innovation, and exceptional customer service will ensure that KWV remains a company that consumers and customers can trust,” Lloyd said.

ANITA’S CONTROVERSIAL STATEMENTS ON THE ‘REAL HOUSEWIVES VAN DIE WYNLANDE’

Since the first episode of the ‘Real Housewives van die Wynlande,’ Anita’s love of profanity and controversial comments have raised quite a few eyebrows.

In the first episode, she went all out, describing herself as “F**cking hot.”

Later she dished about her lavish home, which is “as big as a rugby field,” describing it as “next f**cking level.”

But it was her comments on money that left many viewers speechless.

“We all serve Mammon. We are crazy about him, the money god. If I didn’t have money… I will jump off a building. It’s actually unimaginable,” she said.

According to Huisgenoot, Anita’s comments caused a stir, even within her own circles. And definitely at KWV.

The publication reports her husband, Boyce, at one point, didn’t want his wife to give any more interviews.

And at the KWV headquarters in Paarl, employees are reportedly forbidden to speak to the media about the CEO’s wife.

Real Housewives van die Wynlande airs on KykNet (DStv channel 144) on Thursdays at 20:00. The series is the second Afrikaans adaptation of the Real Housewives franchise. It is filmed around the winelands in the Western Cape – Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch, and Somerset West.
