Prince Harry breaks silence about King Charles’ cancer diagnosis

In a rare interview Prince Harry recently opened up about his visit to his father,King Charles III’s who has been diagnosed with cancer.

The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry has candidly opened up about his father, King Charles III’s cancer diagnosis.

PRINCE HARRY OPENS UP ABOUT HIS FATHER’S CANCER

In a new interview with Good Morning America correspondent Will Reeve, opened up about his father’s cancer diagnosis, as well as talking about how he found out about the King’s health scare.

While talking to Will Reeve, Harry noted that King Charles directly informed him about the cancer.

“How did you get the news that your father was ill?”, correspondent Will Reeve asked the Duke of Sussex during an interview Friday at the Invictus Games One Year to Go event in Whistler, Canada.

To which the Duke of Sussex replied: “I spoke to him”.

When finding out Harry revealed that his next move was to “jump on a plane” and see his father “as soon as [he] could”.

‘LOOK, I LOVE MY FAMILY’

Despite everything that has transpired over the past few years, Prince Harry has reiterated that he still loves his family.

“Look, I love my family”, the Duke of Sussex shared.

Harry also shared how grateful he was to see and spend time with his father, King Charles.

The duke continued: “The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that”.

The Duke also admitted that King Charles’ cancer diagnosis could possibly initiate some reconciliation between the royal family.

“Throughout all these [Invictus] families, I see it on a day-to-day basis, the strength of the family unit coming together. I think any illness, any sickness brings families together”, he added.

Earlier this month Buckingham Palace announced that the King was diagnosed with an unspecified cancer.
