Andile Jali hauls Swallows to PSL DRC

Andile Jali has taken action against troubled club, Moroka Swallows by hauling them to the PSL DRC for owed salaries.

Things appear to be getting uglier at Moroka Swallows as latest reports suggest Andile Jali has taken the club to the PSL Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC).

According to iDiski Times, Jali is fed up with Swallows due to unpaid salaries and signing-on fee as agreed when he first joined the club.

Jali was Swallows’ marquee signing at the start of the season, Steve Komphela was instrumental in him joining the Soweto-based outfit.

Now, following a stand-off between the players and management in December, things have not been rosy at Swallows.

And while a section of Swallows players has returned to training, Jali hasn’t set foot there as his situation is still unresolved.

The publication reports that the PSL DRC will hear the matter on 14 February at the league’s offices with Jali set to be represented by his legal team.

KOMPHELA PLAYING THE WAITING GAME

Meanwhile, Komphela is still waiting on the Swallows management to inform him as to whether or not they still need his services.

As reported on The South African website on Thursday, Komphela is yet to report for duty with only a few days before the resumption of the league season.

His assistants Musa Nyatama and Ditheko Mototo are reportedly in charge of the training sessions at Swallows.

The Dube Birds are scheduled to take on Cape Town City at DHL Cape Town Stadium on Tuesday, 13 February, and it remains to be seen if they will honour the fixture.
