Keagan Dolly has promised Kaizer Chiefs fans that they can turn things around in the Soweto Derby when they meet Orlando Pirates.

Despite their slow start into the season, Kaizer Chiefs winger Keagan Dolly speaks about turning things around in the Soweto Derby.

The experienced Chiefs winger, Dolly is confident the Soweto giants can be able to bag their second consecutive DStv Premiership win this weekend.

With Chiefs having been banned from playing their homes in front of their fans at FNB Stadium, the winger reassures the Glamour Boys family of better days ahead.

CAN CHIEFS TURN THINGS AROUND IN THE SOWETO DERBY –  DOLLY SPEAKS

As he looks forward to his fifth Soweto Derby in Chiefs’ colours, the former Mamelodi Sundowns winger wants the three points.

While the fans are allowed into the venue because it’s a big one in the PSL calendar, Dolly understands the frustrations of the 12th man.

“It will officially be number five for me if I play this weekend,” said Dolly speaking to the media on Thursday.

“I think this one will be different because of the situation that both teams find themselves in.
“This time it is not only about the bragging rights, and having the edge over each other but more about the three points. The three points are more important for us to climb higher up the log.

“For us as Kaizer Chiefs, we have discussed it in the dressing room after last night’s game that the remaining games, we have to try and win them.
“There is no difference with this one on Saturday, we want to bag the three points and keep the momentum.”

CAN A WIN LESSEN THE PRESSURE ON AMAKHOSI PLAYERS?

Amakhosi fans are frustrated considering the fact that the Naturena-based club is in its ninth year without silverware – Dolly understands the anger.

“We know winning the derby is something big (for the supporters) but at the end of the day, it’s the three points just like any other league game,” he adds.

“We know what the expectations are, we know how excited the supporters will be. But for us as players, we want to go into each and every game to win.

“Each game should be important for us to win for our supporters. Obviously, if we win this game, the pressure will lessen.”
