Richards Bay picked up a much-needed win when they beat Swallows 1-0, while there were goalless draws in matches between Kaizer Chiefs and Royal AM, as well as Golden Arrows and Stellenbosch FC.

In Sunday’s only match, AmaZulu beat Cape Town City FC3-2.

Despite not being in action, Mamelodi Sundowns lead the way after six matches with the defending champions boasting a perfect six wins to date.

Masandawana are already a yawning 10 points ahead of Amakhosi who have eight points and find themselves in fifth place in the standings.
