Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro’s position as head coach is under jeopardy with Bucs management frustrated with his recent results.

Despite winning the MTN8, Bucs management are not happy with Riveiro’s results in the DStv Premiership.

Therefore, his position is under threat.

ORLANDO PIRATES MANAGEMENT FRUSTRATED WITH PSL FORM

Bucs management are unhappy with Pirates PSL form.

Furthermore, they have been growing in frustration for some time and the results have not been getting better.

They have managed just four wins from eleven matches in the DStv Premiership. Meanwhile, the Bucs have only scored 11 goals in as many matches.

“The pressure is mounting for Jose Riveiro in his role as the head coach of Orlando Pirates due to inconsistent results by the team, sources have revealed,” the report read on SoccerLaduma.

A decision will be made at the end of the season based on Pirates league results.

“It is on the league that he will be judged and its important for the team to improve under his guidance,” he added.

DEFINING POINT IN JOSE RIVEIRO’S CAREER

Riveiro’s future will be decided based on league results.

Meaning, he can still turn it around and safe his job if the Bucs turn things around. It is all up to where they finish in the DStv Premiership. Therefore, Riveiro has his work cut out for him but thankfully we are less than half way through the season. Pirates are currently 9th with 11 points but they have a game in hand over most teams above them.
