The Springboks will return to playing in their customary green and gold jerseys when they face Romania in the Rugby World Cup.

On Sunday, 17 September 2023, the Springboks will take on Romania for the second time in their history.

WHEN DOES SPRINGBOKS VS ROMANIA KICK-OFF AND HOW TO WATCH

The match kicks off at 15:00 and will be broadcast live on SuperSport and SABC 2.

Their only previous meeting ended in a 21-8 victory for the Springboks at the 1995 Rugby World Cup. On that day, Adriaan Richter scored twice while Gavin Johnson kicked a conversion and goaled three penalties.

That match was held at Newlands in front of 45,000 fans and saw Romanian flanker Andrei Gurănescu score the only try of the competition for the team affectionately known as The Oaks.
