One of the Springboks Rugby World winners has been linked with a huge return to one of the top clubs in South Africa.

Trevor Nyakane could be returning to the Bulls.

Ironically, he is set to be one of the players believed to be making way for Owen Farrell at Racing Metro.

NYAKANE HEADING BACK TO THE BULLS

Recent reports doing the rounds have stated that Trevor Nyakane is set to return to his former club, the Bulls.

“Nyakane, who joined Racing from the Vodacom Bulls in 2021, has been linked with a return to Loftus Versfeld, as Jake White continues to add more experience to his squad,” the sport read on SARugbyMag.

Jake White is accustomed to bringing Springboks veterans to Loftus.

He has signed the likes of Bismarck du Plessis, Marcel Coetzee. Furthermore, he recently signed Bok veteran Willie le Roux. Therefore, it is clear that he values having experienced campaigners in his squad.

Nyakane has 67 test caps for the Springboks.

He is also well-known amongst the Loftus faithful because he was a part of their Currie Cup win during Jake Whites first season in charge of the club.

SPRINGBOKS RETURNING HOME

Nyakane would become the latest Bok to return home. Joining the likes of Wille le Roux (Bulls) and Vincent Koch (Sharks).

Furthermore, Warwick Galant (Stormers), Coenie Oosthuizen (Sharks) and Akker van der Merwe (Bulls) all returned following brief stints abroad. However, Oosthuizen is out of the picture. Whilst, Gelant and van Der Merwe will be fighting to return to the national set up.
