Two Oceans Marathon: Starting time of every runner

One of the biggest weekend in South African road running – the Two Oceans Ultra Marathon and Two Oceans Half Marathon – will take place this weekend.

One of the biggest weekend in South African road running – the Two Oceans Ultra Marathon and Two Oceans Half Marathon – will take place this weekend.

The 56km ultra marathon will take place on Saturday, 13 April, starting at 05:15.

A field of a reported 14 000 runners – including defending women’s champion South Africa’s Gerda Steyn – will take to the start line on the corner of Main Road and Dean Street in Newlands.

The finish will be on the University of Cape Town’s rugby fields.

Below is a now confirmed list of the start times between 05:15 (Group A) and 05:39 (Group N).

Note, there are no group I.

Meanwhile, the half marathon over 21.1km will take place on Sunday, 14 April with the first runners setting off at 06.15.

The start and finish are the same as the ultra marathon.

The half marathon has reportedly attracted close to 16 000 entrants.

Below is a now confirmed list of the start times between 06:15 (Group A) and 07:00 (Group R).

Note, there are no groups I and O.
