Will Chiefs make a move for Pitso, following his recent views?

In a strategic move hinting at a potential shift to Kaizer Chiefs, Pitso Mosimane, currently unaffiliated with any club, emphasises the importance of shared visions between him and the team.

Mosimane also recently opened up about two major transfer misses at Mamelodi Sundowns, showcasing his ability to scout quality players too.

PITSO’S OPENNESS TO CHIEFS MOVE

Discussing his future, Mosimane expressed openness to a move to Amakhosi, provided there is alignment in their aspirations. Notably, he not only praised the Glamour Boys but also signalled receptiveness for the club’s management to approach him.

In a recent interview with KayaFM’s T-Boss, Mosimane showcased his professionalism, stating, “I’ll go anywhere, I’m a professional. As long as you show me the vision and we are aligned, any team I’ll go work for it.” 

He highlighted his track record of elevating teams, including bringing Saudi Arabian giant Al Ahli back to the Premier League.

When questioned about AmaKhosi, Mosimane, reflecting on his deep childhood affinity for the club, exclaimed, “You ask me about Kaizer Chiefs, what an institution! I mean, I supported the team when I was young.”

The seasoned coach expressed readiness to return to coaching in January after a family-focused December break, leaving the door ajar for a potential collaboration with Chiefs.

Amidst these discussions, it’s noteworthy that Amakhosi recently parted ways with Molefi Ntseki, leading to the appointment of Cavin Johnson as an interim coach. 

Simultaneously, Mosimane, having left UAE’s Al-Wahda this month, stands as a free agent in the coaching arena.

With Mosimane initiating this discourse, the ball is now in Kaizer Chiefs’ court.
