The Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund UK, is delighted to have charity collections at “Mama Africa: Celebrating Miriam Makeba.”

Taking place on Saturday November 21st at the Barbican in London, the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund UK, is thrilled to be associated with one of Mr Mandela’s favourite singers!

“Mama Africa” is curated and presented by Angelique Kidjo. This very special evening brings together some of the finest vocal talent the African continent has to offer, to pay tribute to Makeba, with performers including: Baaba Maal, Asa, Vusi Mahlasela, Sayon Bamba, Dobet Gnahore & South African chorus.

“Mama Africa: Celebrating Miriam Makeba,” promises to be an extraordinary opportunity to re-live the music of Africa’s greatest voice.
