South African teenager and singer songwriter Filipa has been voted through to the semi-finals of an international competition to find the Favourite Cover of One Direction‘s hit single, ‘Story of My Life’! (Watch video below.)
Eighteen-year-old Filipa Carmo da Silva is now through to the final ten contestants in the competition, which is being run by American presenter and media mogul Ryan Seacrest.
Last night she left a message on her Facebook page: “It’s official. I’m in the SEMI-FINALS for the Ryan Seacrest One Direction Story of my Life cover contest!!! Sooo happy!”
It would be great if we could all get behind her. Filipa needs (and deserves!) all the South African votes she can get!
The final round will be next Monday, February 10. You can vote every 12 hours until February 9.
