Barely two weeks after a horrific terror attack on a beach resort in Grand Bassam, Ivory Coast, a collective of singers in the country have come together to sing words telling the terrorists that they won’t give in to fear after the attack.

The Grand Bassam attack left at least 16 people dead when the terrorists, apparently from the North African division of al Qaeda, attacked three hotels in the resort town frequented by holiday makers from the nearby capital, Abidjan.

The song “Même Pas Peur” (Not Even Afraid) was shot on the very beach where the attack took place.

The lyrics, while saying Ivory Coast is still on its felt, also accuse the attackers, “Islam is a religion that promotes love, you kill innocents for lost causes”.
