South African comedian Trevor Noah hadĀ a strong message for those liberalĀ supporters who have been protesting against Donald Trump being President.

He cautioned them to be careful not to become the “hate” they’re protesting against, and that it’s like sex – you can be “loud and wild and do it all night long… but when something starts to burn, you should probably stop.”

Anti-Trump protests have continued for the third day in cities across America, with Hillary Clinton supporters chanting: “Love Trumps Hate” and “Hey hey, ho ho, Donald Trump has to go”. The protesters say they know they can’t reverse the decision but would like to raise awareness about their opposition to Trump’sĀ campaignĀ which they say spewed racism and sexism.

The South African comedian also observed that during that first meeting between Trump and Obamba, there was a bust of Martin Luther King behind Trump… probably thinking, said Noah: “I have a nightmare!”

He also joked about the two First Ladies meeting withĀ Melania Trump possibly plagiarising Michelle Obama “on the fly”…

Meanwhile back at home, South African President Jacob Zuma congratulated Donald Trump (um, sort of)…
