When things get bad in South Africa, people get funny. And the Cape Town water crisis, that is currently gripping the city, continues is no exception.

After authorities have tried everything from educating, fining and even naming and shaming to try and get some reluctant residents on board to truly save water… two locals are trying a different tactic: laughter.

Devon – who specialises in videos that highlight the humour in different South African cultures – has created a skit that imagines the future if the crisis continues; whilst Emma Engers has put together a funny (and informative) song! Watch both below.
