Watch Them Sing Phata Phata in Ireland

Last week, the beautiful village of Kilfinane, in County Limerick, Ireland blew South Africans away with their stunning performance of Shosholoza.

It was taught to them by South African expat, Patrick Othandwayo Sakayi, who moved into the area because it was the only place where he could find a property big enough to rent for him and his two dogs.

Since he was invited to sing in a pub on St Patrick’s Day, the wonderful community has embraced Patrick… and now he’s teaching them his favourite SA songs. This week: Miriam Makeba’s Phat Phat…

“We’re going to try the click song next week,” says Patrick. “That should be fun…”
