Turns out there’s a beautiful Gaeilge version of Africa’s Toto. (We can’t even find an Afrikaans version!)
As most South African expats in Ireland will know, Gaeilge (or Gaelic) is the Irish language, and is one of the EU’s official languages.
Take a listen below to how it sounds when used to sing songs that are so familiar to us… Toto’s Africa and The Lion King.
Plus – in honour of Swedish musician Avicii, who passed away on Friday at the age of 28 – we’ve included the Gaeilge version of Wake Me Up (which is so good it’s had over 6 million views).
