South Africans have been fiercely proud of ‘My Octopus Teacher’, the breathtaking documentary filmed in South Africa that’s currently enjoying popularity on Netflix internationally. It’s SA’s first Netflix Original Documentary and explores the moving relationship between Craig Foster and an octopus that he befriends in a kelp forest in the Cape Peninsula waters, during a tough time in his life. It’s a wonderful, underwater cinematic gem…

But, of course, being South Africans – someone had to come up with a spoof sooner or later. That someone is comedian Glen Biderman-Pam who has written and directed this brilliant spoof below: “My Kreepy Teacher”.

Gauteng publicist Georg Knoke says: “Only in South Africa ??!! A spoof of My Octopus Teacher – ? now focusing on the Creepy Crawley ?! Brilliant!”

If you haven’t watched My Octopus Teacher yet, watch the trailer for the original at the bottom of the page first, before watching the spoof.
