Trevor Noah delivered another brilliant Grammy Gala evening in Los Angeles last night, Sunday 5 February, including poking fun at Prince Harry and his frost-bitten crown jewels (which he had written about in his memoir ‘Spare’).
Whilst introducing British presenter and fellow comedian James Corden, who has been based in LA the last few years, Trevor (38) made a hilarious dig at Prince Harry’s cringeworthy revelation. Trevor quipped:
“James Corden is a 12-time Emmy winner and the host of The late Late Show’. He’s also living proof that a man can move from London to L.A. And not tell everyone about his frost-bitten penis.”
This was the third time the South African comedian was given the honour of hosting the world’s largest music award ceremony. For many, his Harry joke was the highlight of the ceremony and trended on Twitter.

Showmax – which is currently streaming Harry: The Interview – says “if the word ‘todger’ now brings to mind frostbite, fancy face cream and The People’s Princess, we’ll be joining you at the eye bleach station – cheers!” In the book, the Duke of Sussex revealed that he went to his brother, Prince William’s wedding in April 2011 with a frostbitten appendage that not even Elizabeth Arden face cream could help (advised by a friend)… and that the scent reminded him of his mother! The frostbite was a result of his trek to the North Pole with injured ex-servicemen from Afghanistan.
South Africans Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini and Nomcebo Zikode won a Grammy Award for Best global music performance.
