DURBAN POLICE SEIZE COUNTERFEIT GOODS
South African Police Service (SAPS) spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda said vigilant police officers were performing routine risk profiling when they identified a suspicious cold storage container.

The container’s details did not look right to the SAPS members, and it was searched at the Isipingo depot.

GOODS WORTH R400 000
Netshiunda said tons of knock-offs of well-known clothing brands were found. The goods had an estimated value of R400 000.

“The container was coming from an Asian country, and the police have already started with the process to establish the intended destination and the possible recipients,” said the police spokesperson.
