Back pain is a very common problem these days, which can be found in almost every adult and has become a serious threat. There are a number of reasons for back pain, including poor posture, muscle strain, herniated discs, and arthritis. Various studies have confirmed that back pain is more common among people aged 25-40  and have suggested various home remedies for fast back pain relief.

Here are home remedies to relieve back pain quickly as recommended by various studies.

1. EXERCISE REGULARLY

People who stay active and engage in physical exercise are less likely to experience back pain. A recent analysis of 25 studies discovered that the best way to prevent recurring lower back pain is by regularly exercising, preferably along with some form of physical education.

2. TAKE A HOT BATH

Taking a warm bath can be helpful in relieving muscle spasms and tight muscles while also improving blood circulation. It’s important to ensure that the water temperature is comfortably warm and not too hot. According to the Arthritis Foundation, the recommended temperature range is 92-100 degrees. It is advisable to limit the bath time to around 15-20 minutes and exit the tub before the water cools down too much.

Research indicates that individuals who smoke are more prone to experiencing back pain compared to those who do not smoke.

Moreover, the study shows that an estimated 14% of Americans are current smokers, and therefore at risk for a number of smoking-related conditions. Low back pain is one such condition that has a strong association with smoking.
